Privacy Policy

This policy is a draft. Wendi has not confirmed it yet. Until she does and this notice comes down, treat it as not yet in force.

Anything marked “Pending” has not been settled. It is left open here on purpose, not guessed at.

wendihenry.com is run by SalesSmyth LLC, the company I co-founded and co-own. SalesSmyth LLC signs the contracts and is paid. I am Wendi Henry, the writer, and I work from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In this policy, “we” means SalesSmyth LLC and “I” means me.

Only what you give it or what a visit leaves behind.

• What you type into a form on this site, such as your name, email address and message. It goes to SalesSmyth LLC’s own lead system from our server, not from your browser.
• What you enter when you book a conversation. The booking pages under /meet run on Cal.com, which collects your name, email address and chosen time.
• Payment details. Payments go through Stripe, on SalesSmyth LLC’s Stripe account. Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy.
• Sign-in details, for paying clients only. A client can sign in with Google to see their pieces, review rounds and plan. We keep the name and email address Google shares and a session that keeps you signed in. There are no free accounts.
• Visit data. The site can use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Pending: Wendi confirms whether analytics, and error monitoring, are switched on at launch.
• Ordinary technical logs. Our host, Vercel, handles each request and keeps standard logs, such as your IP address and the pages requested.

Hiring me adds more: the notes you send, your answers in an interview, your drafts and your voice profile, the written profile of how you talk. Your finished work and your voice profile belong to you.

I use Claude, from Anthropic, as the default AI tool, unless you ask for another. Whether what you send is kept out of the model’s training depends on the type of account used, and that is not settled yet. Pending: the answer will go into the Working Agreement.

Until it is settled, keep sensitive details out of what you send me: customer names, account numbers, anything under a confidentiality agreement.

• To answer your messages and set up a conversation.
• To take payment and keep a record of the sale.
• To deliver the writing you bought.
• To see which pages are read, so the site can be improved.

These companies process information for us, each under its own privacy policy:

• Cal.com, for bookings.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Google, for sign-in, and for analytics if it is switched on.
• Vercel, for hosting this site.
• Anthropic, for the AI tool used on client work.

Pending: how long each kind of information is kept has not been set.

Arriving at this section reopens the cookie banner, so you can accept or reject again at any time. Your earlier choice stays in place until you pick again.

This site sets a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies. Signed-in clients also get a session cookie, so the site knows who they are. If analytics is switched on, Google sets its own cookies.

Pending: before launch, Wendi and the site’s builder confirm that choosing Reject keeps analytics off. Until then, do not read the banner as a promise that it does.
