Terms of Service

Status of this page

This page is a draft. Wendi has not confirmed it yet. Until she does and this notice comes down, treat it as not yet in force.

Anything marked “Pending” has not been settled. It is left open here on purpose, not guessed at.

Who you are dealing with

wendihenry.com is run by SalesSmyth LLC. SalesSmyth LLC signs the contracts and is paid for the work. I am Wendi Henry, the writer who does it, and I co-own the company.

In these terms, “we” means SalesSmyth LLC and “I” means me. “You” is the person or business buying the work.

What I offer

I write and edit for business owners. Three kinds of work are for sale on this site:

  • A single piece, $1,000. One long-form piece, such as an article, blog post, newsletter, letter or case story. It includes a scoping conversation (optional, if I work from my own research instead), angles and a brief, and one review round.
  • A monthly writing retainer, month to month, in three tiers. Every tier includes a voice profile built in the first month, and angles and a brief for each piece.
  • Essentials, $2,200 a month: 2 long pieces, one active request at a time, a 4-business-day turnaround, up to 8,000 words of editing and one 30-minute call.
  • Growth, $4,400 a month: 4 long pieces, two active requests, a 2-business-day turnaround, up to 20,000 words of editing, a weekly async check-in and a monthly strategy call.
  • Scale, $6,500 a month: 6 long pieces, three active requests, a priority queue, editing within reason, and a quarterly messaging review and readout.
  • A repurposing add-on, $250 per long piece. Four to six short posts, threads, carousels or video scripts cut from a finished piece, each traced to the passage it came from.

Nothing here is unlimited. Each retainer has the limits listed above.

What is not offered

  • Introductions. I make them, and I stake my name on each one, but they are never priced, bundled or promised as part of any offer.
  • Work outside the three offers above.
  • Insurance, annuities or real estate. I keep these on a limited basis for my own investments, friends, family and past clients, and I take no new clients there.
  • A promised result. Nothing on this site promises leads, referrals or sales.

How the work is made

Each piece starts from an interview with you or from my own research on your business. You choose which. I build a voice profile, write the draft, and edit it myself.

I use AI where it helps, and I say so. Claude, from Anthropic, is the default tool unless you ask for another. The level of AI help is stated on the finished work.

Your time is adjustable. The interview is optional, and on a retainer you can reduce draft reviews or turn them off.

I am one writer. When I am away, a backup team covers the work. It covers absences. It does not replace me.

Who owns the work

You own the finished work and your voice profile. The voice profile stays with you if we stop working together.

Payment, renewal and ending

Payments go through SalesSmyth LLC’s Stripe account. You can pay in these ways:

  • A single piece: agreed after a conversation with me, then invoiced by SalesSmyth LLC through Stripe.
  • A retainer: through on-site checkout, or after a booked conversation by Stripe invoice. It is charged monthly.
  • The repurposing add-on: added to the invoice for a piece or a retainer.

A retainer is month to month. Pieces you do not use in a month do not roll over to the next, because the capacity is held for that month only. The purchase policy covers cancelling, rescheduling and refunds.

Still being settled

These are not settled, so these terms do not cover them yet:

  • Pending: how much notice ends a retainer.
  • Pending: warranties and limits on liability.
  • Pending: which state’s law governs these terms, and where a dispute would be heard.
  • Pending: confidentiality, and whether client material is kept out of AI training. These are to be written into a Working Agreement, covering privacy and terms, that is not published yet.

If any of these matters to your decision, ask before you buy.
