How I work with business owners

I write the pitch, the case story and the article your referral partners can retell. Here is what you can order and how each piece gets made.

Pieces I ghostwrote for clients have run in Forbes, Yahoo Finance, Insurance Thought Leadership and BNI.

Three ways to work with me

A single piece

One long-form piece in your voice: an article, a case story, a letter. One job, nothing to renew.

A monthly writing retainer

A set number of long pieces every month, plus editing of your own drafts. Month to month.

Repurposing

One finished piece cut into four to six short posts, each traced to the passage it came from.

How every piece is made

An interview, or my research

A short conversation with you, or my own research on your business if you would rather skip it.

A voice profile

A written profile of how you talk. You own it, and it stays with you if we stop.

A draft

I write it, and I decide how much of it the AI writes.

A score

I score the draft against my written writing principles before you see it.

My edit, then your review

I edit it myself. You can review each draft, review fewer, or turn reviews off.

Every piece states its AI level.

I use AI on some pieces and not on others. I choose how much of each piece it writes, on a seven-level scale from Reviewed to Generated, and I state the level on the work. Your readers never have to guess.

Before you ask

Something not here? Ask me in a conversation.

No. I can research your business and write from that. If you do want to talk, a short conversation is enough to start.

Only as much as you want. You can review each draft, review fewer of them, or turn reviews off.

You do. You own the finished work and your voice profile.

Claude, from Anthropic, unless you ask for another. Each piece states how much of it the AI wrote.

I'm one writer, which is rather the point. A backup team covers when I'm away. They cover my absence, and they do not replace me. Read about the backup team.

Yes. It runs month to month. Pieces you have not used do not roll over to the next month.

Not as one of my services. That work is done in a SalesSmyth engagement, or I refer you to a partner who does it. See how it works.

Not sure which one fits?

Tell me what is on your calendar, a weekly pitch or a feature presentation, and I will say which fits.
